'The X Factor' Top 10 Give Thanks With Emotional Performances

"The X Factor (US)" celebrated Thanksgiving in its Wednesday, November 21 episode. Just in time for the turkey festivity, the Top 10 of the singing competition dedicated their songs to those they're thankful for.

Tate Stevens took the stage first. He covered Lonestar's "I'm Already There" and dedicated it to his father. Britney Spears said, "Your performances are always so special and touching," but Demi Lovato thought it "wasn't his best performance." Simon Cowell pointed out his "voice was breaking" in some parts, but added there wasn't "a cat in hell's chance" he's going to be sent home this week.

Diamond White sang "Because You Loved Me" to honor her mother. She left both her mom and Demi Lovato in tears. "This song already means a lot to me...You blew me away," the former Disney starlet said. L.A. gushed, "Unless I'm dead wrong, we're going to be hearing your name for many, many years," as the other judges also gave rave reviews.

Emblem3 delivered "Secrets" by OneRepublic to express their gratitude to the youth leaders who inspired them. For L.A., the performance "lacked emotion," but Demi said she saw more emotion. Simon also defended his protege, telling them not to listen to the "grinch" a.k.a. L.A.

Arin Ray dedicated his rendition of "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias to his brother. L.A. praised his song choice, but said it wasn't "gut-wrenching performance." Demi agreed with L.A. this time as she commented, "If I owned a record label, I wouldn't have signed you. I was just really bored."

Cece Frey sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" to honor her late older sister and teared up toward the end of the performance. L.A. said, "I have to praise you because your emotion was so genuine, so real." Britney, Demi and Simon also liked it.

Next, Fifth Harmony sang "I'll Stand by You" to thank the Lord. Britney called it "touching and beautiful," while Demi called it "genuine." The "Skyscraper" songstress, however, wasn't "too crazy about the song choice." Simon disagreed with Demi, saying, "I was crazy about the song choice."

Beatrice Miller gave thanks for her twin little sisters with a cover of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars". Britney, L.A. and Simon gave rave reviews, but Demi thought that she "wasn't progressing" enough.

Vino Alan dedicated his rendition of "God Bless the USA" to the military "for their sacrifice in protecting and defending our country." Vino got a standing ovation from all four judges, as Britney dubbed it his first "spot-on" performance of the show. Demi, meanwhile, admitted that she had been wrong about him all this time.

Paige Thomas sang Britney's "Everytime" to thank Colleen, who has raised her since her mother died in a car accident. Britney said it's "really beautiful," but Simon and Demi agreed that Paige's emotion took over the performance and her vocals was "pitchy."

Carly Rose Sonenclar wrapped the performance show with "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" dedicated to her brother. L.A. gushed, "You're an absolute force of nature." Simon chimed in, "That was one of the best versions of it I've ever heard."
