The John Hillcoat-directed movie, which screened Wednesday night at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, stars LaBeouf as a bootlegger in Depression-era Virginia.
Shia LaBeouf
LaBeouf, who plays an outlaw bootleger in the movie, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he was convinced to join the project when director John Hillcoat "took me down to Hamburger Hamlet and asked if I wanted to be in GoodFellas in the Woods."
Guy Pearce
Pearce plays Special Agent Charlie Rakes. Pearce previously appeared in Ridley Scott's Alien "prequel" Prometheus and the sci-fi actioner Lockout.

Cave established his now-iconic band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds in 1983. Cave wrote the screenplay for director John Hillcoat's film The Proposition and Lawless is their second collaboration with one another.

Ross is the estranged wife of director Rupert Sanders, who was recently photographed while cheating with his Snow White and the Huntsman star Kristen Stewart.
Dane DeHaan, Lucy Fisher and Douglas Wick
